"In a broken and fearful world, the Spirit gives us courage to hear the voices of people long silenced and to work with others for justice, freedom, and peace. (The Book of Confessions, A Brief Statement of Faith)"

St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church is committed to the holy values of justice, freedom, and peace. We continually strive to deepen our commitment to our social justice ministry, and proudly proclaim our values as a More Light congregation, a Reproductive Freedom Congregation. We support peace and human rights for the Palestinian people as well as all people who are being persecuted. We support ministries to help immigrants, and believe in equal treatment of all people, especially those in need. In recent years, we have witnessed to our faith by participating in the Texas Muslim Day at the Capitol, the Poor People’s Campaign Rally, offered sanctuary to immigrants in need of refuge, held a Prayer Vigil for an injured Palestinian who was attacked, as well as numerous other direct actions.
