Giving Makes a Difference

Each of us is a steward, someone trusted to take care of something including our precious time, our unique talents & skills, our personal resources, and the resources of this planet. Below are some ways in which you can contribute to this community.

Ways to Contribute

  • Share Your Time

    • The most precious gift you can share is your time – whether in person or virtually. Building friendships, seeking comfort, celebrating, growing, learning together, and even sitting together in gratitude, are gifts to each other and to ourselves.
    • The Get Involved, and Growing  pages of this site will give you an idea of ways in which you can share your time with us.

  • Share Your Talents

    • Volunteering your skills to support the missions of St. Andrew’s is another way of helping others.

    • Find more information about St. Andrew’s Committees & Teams or opportunities under the Get Involved pages.

  • Share Your Resources

    • Financial donations, no matter the size, are indispensable to the continuation of St. Andrew’s missions and day to day operation. To donate, simply scroll to the bottom of this page and click on the donate button. Choose 'food pantry' as your donation fund.

    • Food!

    1. We accept donations of non-perishable food items each Sunday during our services to be distributed through our Food Pantry operations.

    2. You can also make arrangements to drop off food during the week by contacting our church office at

    512-251-0698 or by emailing admin@staopen.org.

    3. Let Amazon do the heavy lifting! Our food pantry has an Amazon Wishlist. All donations ship directly to St. Andrew's and will be distributed either at our Thursday Night Homeless Outreach or the next food pantry. The list has comments on which items are best for Subscribe & Save as well as which items are highest priority.

If you donate through Amazon or bring in food on your own, please keep your records for tax purposes, as these are not reflected in our annual giving statements.
