Immigrant Support Committee

Changes in the immigration policies of our country appear to be both necessary and imminent. The committee seeks opportunities to assist a growing base of immigrants while continuing support of Hilda and Ivan , who live in sanctuary at our church, as they transition out of St. Andrew’s. 

The Long-Term Goals of the Committee include the pursuit of stronger connections with immigrants and groups which serve immigrants to see how we can participate and strengthen their work. To this end we envision the development of projects and programs which will educate the congregation on how they might more fully participate in the task of backing new immigrants as they are brought into our society.
